Data Deletion & Revocation

You can disconnect WeTube from your Google Account at any time and request deletion of data associated with your use of WeTube.

1. Revoke Google / YouTube access

Open your Google Account permissions page, locate WeTube, and remove its access. Revoking access prevents future authorized YouTube API requests on your behalf.

2. Request deletion from WeTube

To request deletion of stored account-related data, email wetube@lembem.com from the email address associated with your WeTube use. Use the subject WeTube Data Deletion Request.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or channel, such as the Google account email used with WeTube or the YouTube channel URL. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, recovery codes, or other secrets.

3. What happens after revocation or a deletion request

When authorization is revoked or a valid deletion request is received, WeTube deletes stored authorized YouTube API data associated with that authorization as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days, except where retention is legally required.

Deleting data stored by WeTube does not delete content or data stored by YouTube. To delete content from YouTube, use YouTube itself or an authorized API client that supports the relevant deletion action.

4. API-derived data

Data obtained through YouTube API Services is handled in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services policies, including required refresh and deletion rules.
